It's Christmas

As a Muslim, we are not even allowed to greet 'Merry Christmas' to Christian people. Apparently, we can't celebrate Christmas in any way. Yeah, I do find Christmas decorations are very cute and attractive. But no, I'm not celebrating Christmas.

That's all

The Untitled Post

So, there are 8 more days until the last day of semester 2. FYI, I already packed all my clothes in my locker into my bags. And soon, I will start packing all my things and going home. Wow, awesome! How fast time is running now? I don't know!

Because it's too fast. Then, on (if I'm not wrong) 10 January 2012, the semester 3 will start. By that time my freedom will be taken from me. During the semester 3, there will be 3 subjects which are Environmental Design, Graphic Communication 2 and Computer. Yes, only three. Actually four, if I include Tilawah. 4 is not as big as 5 like the 1st semester. 4 is only 2 times 2. But four subjects can cause my life super hectic and busy.

Environmental Design and Graphic Communication 2 will cost a lot of money, just to buy all that stuff. Technical pens, pens, pencils and a lot lot lot more. Guess what? The allowance is not yet in until a few weeks after the semester starts. So, yeah I need to use my own money and I guess I will ask more money from my daddy! Papa, if you read this, take a note that I need A LOT OF MONEY for semester 3!

Hopefully, I will enjoy the Re-Dos, the sleepless nights and more Nescafe in semester 3. Sarcastic!

Okay, bye!

Love it : Hermione's room

Hey, there!

Today, I wanna share Hermione's room in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallow part 1. I just love the whole room. The desk by the window, the headboard, the bookshelves, the chair, the arm chair, the night stand and the memo board. Her room looks so alive!
Don't you think so?

That's all.

Fun Friends

Friends are fun.
Sahabat untuk selamanya,
kau dan aku sahabat untuk selamanya

Pikah is my roommate and my classmate for this sem. She obsesses with Adam AF2 and knows almost everything about him. She's also a fan of 2p.m.

Nabilah was my classmate for 1st sem and will be my classmate for 3rd sem too. She is die-hard fan of Jaejong from JYJ and she enjoys Korean songs all the time.

Ieqa is a classmate of Pikah and a roommate of Nabilah. Then, we become friends. She is fun and talkative person. I love to hear her stories because she has a lot stories to be told.

Nas is just the same like Ieqa. But she's not really talkative but really enjoys sharing her stories on FB.

Alisha was my classmate. She's a Chinese-Malay mixed. And she looks like Chinese. A kind girl and sometimes clumsy like me. LOL.

Okay, the picture above was taken on Friday at Vincci, Midvalley.

Friends do cherish our life, right?

That's all. Wassalam

p/s : you know which one is me, right?

If only I feel you, even as the wind.

So, today my friends and I went to Midvalley. One of my friends, Nabilah, bought the korean movie, Windstruck. After we're back in Cfs, we watched it. The first half of the movie was real funny plus sweet. But the rest of the movie was real sad.

The film stars Jun Ji-hyun as Officer Yeo Kyung-jin, an ambitious young female police officer serving on the Seoul police department. One day while chasing a purse snatcher, she accidentally captures Go Myung-woo (played by Jang Hyuk), a physics teacher at an all-girls school, who was actually trying to catch the thief. Later, Myung-woo discovers the stolen purse, but just as he picks it up, Kyung-jin spots him and tries to arrest him again.

Kyung-jin is then given the job of escorting Myung-woo through a dangerous district, only to be distracted when she tries to break up a meeting between Russian Mafia and Korean gangsters. With Myung-woo handcuffed to her, Kyung-jin almost single-handedly brings down the two rival gangs (although she is helped when she accidentally causes the groups to start shooting at each other).

The first half of the film, told from Myung-woo's point of view, details the couple's growing attraction and love for each other, which climaxes with a trip to the countryside where Myung-woo tells Kyung-jin that if he were ever to die, he wanted to come back to earth as the wind. Soon after, he is almost killed in a freak automobile accident, but Kyung-jin saves his life.

The film takes a turn into the fantasy genre in its second half after Myung-woo is accidentally shot and killed by another officer (although the situation is such that Kyung-jin thinks that it was her shot that killed him) as Kyung-jin chases after a criminal. Kyung-jin falls into a suicidal depression over his death and attempts to kill herself several times, almost succeeding when she throws herself off a building, only to be saved when a giant balloon floats under her. Soon after, she experiences visitations from Myung-woo, who appears as the wind, sending her messages and, at one point, he even appears in her dreams in order to give her the will to live after she is nearly shot to death by a criminal.

Ultimately the film follows a similar path set out by the American film Ghost with Myung-woo and Kyung-jin communicating and sharing one final gesture of love before he moves on to the afterlife. Myung-woo said that he will whisper, when she hears him whisper in the wind, she will meet someone with a soul like him. Myung-woo told Kyung-jin that he will always be beside her inside a book with a photo left by Myung-woo in the restaurant before he rushed to meet Kyung-jin who was chasing the insane criminal.

In the first half of the film, Myung-woo told that his only memory of high school was his high school trip. The book and the photo is found and returned to Kyung-jin in the police station. The photo showed that on Myung-woo's trip, Kyung-jin was nearby. This proved Myung-woo's "I'm always beside you" was true to Kyung-jin. Kyung-jin rushed out to locate the finder of the book, ultimately ending up in the train station, where she is saved by Cha Tae-Hyun's character (credited as The Guy). Myung-woo whispered that The Guy is the one with the soul like him. Kyung-jin whispers that "he is always beside her."

As for me, I hate a movie that the hero dead. And yeah, really sad movie. But still worth watching.

That's all

It's weekend {again}

My weekend is such a boring weekend.
Lying in front of TV and laptop the whole day until my sister came.
I hate weekend, and I hate weekdays. LOL.

I want holiday, a real one.

My roommate [during the 1st sem] went to Paris for holiday. That was what she said. Believe or not is up to me. I wish, I wish I can see the Eiffel Tower too. I'm so jealous. Really jealous.

I need holiday. It's quite a long time since I went for holiday with my family.

Okay, that's all.

Tunas

When I read Tunas, by hlovate.

it reminds me of school. I miss school. Don't you?

Can you spot me?

Cliches done well

What can I say? It's awesome. I cried when I was watching this movie.

Ombak Rindu. The second novel that I read when I was in Form 1. I borrowed it from my primary school friend, Athirah for one year. ONE YEAR. One year because I had no chance meeting my friend since we went to different secondary school. I remembered that the novel condition was very poor. It was really pathetic with no cover. As a girl like me, I judged a book by it's cover. Seeing that novel without a front cover made me feel like not reading at all. But then, I read it because my friend said it's so good novel.

Yes, I admit. It's a very awesome novel that made me cry every time I read it. Even until today. Some may said it's a stupid novel. But for me, a great novel is a novel that succeed in making me cry. Therefore, this novel is the best.

Now, after 5 years later, the movie that adapted from this novel is now showing in cinema. And I got a chance to watch it with my friends. We went to Times Square right after we're done with our BTQ paper (2nd Dec 2011). There were actually eight of us. All girls. But my 4 other friends went first to Times Square since my friends and I went to have our breakfast first. Just because we didn't want to spend money on eating at TS.

From CFS IIUM to TS, we took a bus to KL Central and monorail from KL Central to Imbi. Then, we arrived safely in TS. TS and Imbi Monorail Station are connected, so we didn't need to walk so far. If you want to Low Yat, it's just the same. But Low Yat and the monorail station are not connected, you need to walk quite far to go there.

So, we went to buy tickets first since our 4 other friend lost in action. Okay, no. Just because they took LRT to KL Central, so they didn't know how to go Monorail Station. Monorail Station is outside the building of KL Central. At last, they took cab to TS and they arrived quite late.

We bought the tickets. The movie was going to start at 2.10 p.m. So when my four other friends arrived when we went to the food court because they didn't eat yet. After that, my four other friends went for shopping while we went for bowling at level 5.

Bowling was fun except the fact that I lost to my friend which is also my Kelantanese roommate. I got one strike but then my hand was really not good and also 'riak' made me lost after that. LOL.

When we done with bowling, we went to surau at level 7. Prayed zohor and then, we went to watch Ombak Rindu. FYI, that was my first time watching movie at cinema. Lame, hah?

Ok. The movie is GREAT. Even tough, the movie is not as good as the novel. Yelah, 2 hours je kut. So, don't give high expectation okay? Or else you will be disappointed.

First.
Latar tempat dalam novel adalah berbeza dari dalam movie.

Second.
Banyak part tak ada dalam movie. Part yang Izzah pergi sambung belajar. And many many more.

Third.
In the novel, Mail (Bront Palarae) is not really important character.

Fourth.
Filem ni tak dapat menunjukkan perbezaan masa. Means, entah macam mana tiba-tiba dah 2 tahun berlalu tapi tak de pun notis mengatakan dah dua tahun berlalu. Faham tak? Okay, tak pe.

Fifth.
Banyak dialog kelakar dan dialog Izzah (Maya Karin) macam bahasa melayu lama. Sungguh tak moden.

Sixth.
Hmm, apa lagi? Nak tahu tengoklah sendiri, okay?!

What I love about this movie?
Part Aaron Aziz nangis. Even tough, I know they are fake tears. LOL. Or they're real? Don't think so.

Okay, I think that's all.

Really want to share pictures but so lazy to upload them. If you wanna see pictures, click here

Have a great day.
Wassalam.
